HAYES, Mary Jean (Bristow)

Passed away peacefully on July 13, 2020 at the age of 63. Loving wife of Michael. Predeceased by her first husband Raymond Kapusta (2003). Loving mother of Stephen Kapusta, Rebecca (Sean) Miller, Kellie (Amos) Luker, Christopher (Rebecca) Hayes and special friend to Graham (Michelle) Wild. Loving grandma of Raylyn, Adia, Owen Angelina, Simon, James, Matilda, Henry, Kale and Evan. Dear sister of the (late Wayne) Bristow, Grant Bristow, Frank (Kathy) Bristow, Clark (late Rose) Bristow, George (Margaret) Bristow. Dear sister in law of Maureen (Joseph) Mota. Also remembered by several nieces and nephews. Mary was a secretary at the Halton Catholic District School Board for 21 years. Mary and her husband Mike owned and operated "The Street Meet" hotdog cart at Leamington Marina for 10 years. Visitation at Gerald A. Smith Funeral Home 197 King St. W. Harrow on Thursday July 16, 2020 from 2-4 pm and 6-8 pm. A private family service will be held followed by interment at St. Simon and St. Jude Cemetery, Belle River. A celebration of Mary's life will be held at a later date once restrictions are lifted. Memorial Donations may be made by cheque to the Erie Shores Hospice Residential Home, Leamington.
