I have many fond memories of Joyce growing up. Joyce was a fixture at my Grandmother's house, especially on Sunday's and we would often watch Disney and the Smother's Brothers together after dinner. I am also a Trekkie by association and Joyce took me to the original movie when it was released. Joyce also gave me my first car when I was 15. I had been in the hospital for 6 months and when I got out she asked my parents if it was alright to give me her old car. It was a 1971 Ford Maverick which had little trade in value for her but meant the world to me. I had very little mobility and fixing up the car gave me something I could do. I kept the car for a long time and my friends and I spent many hours behind the wheel or just hanging out in my Grandmother's garage working on it.
She was part of our family, was very much loved and will be missed.
