We always looked forward to going visit Shawn because there was never a shortage of funny stories and lots of laughter. He was definitely proud of his family. He will surely be missed by all. Love Kenny and Jo

Shawn and I fell in love (as Mom and son) in 2006, when he came to Calgary for work and lived with Doug and I for 3 months.
I packed a big lunch for him every day.
He had a great sense of humor! And a giant appetite too! Some days he'd call me at the office and ask if I could bring another lunch to his job site....it would be the middle of the morning and he'd already eaten his lunch!
Of course I always did take him more food and he'd just laugh! So spoiled he was and so lovable!!

We are so very sorry to hear about Shaun. As neighbours we walk by the house several times a week and admire the work he did in the yard. Often he would stop working just to chat with us. A very nice man. We know he will be missed.

I did not know Shawn very well but if he made Carla laugh and smile like I never seen before then he was definitely the one for her. Carla I am so sorry for you and your family's loss. I REMEMBER LIVING BESIDE HIM WHEN HE FIRST MOVED INTO TOWN.
HE TOLD ME ONE DAY OUTSIDE THAT HE THOUGHT THIS GIRL IN TOWN WAS SO BEAUTIFUL AND KNEW THAT ONE DAY SHE WOULD BE MY WIFE,
