SELLARS, Helen Carol (Bruner)

Our kind and gentle Mother, the Matriarch of our family has left us to rejoice with those who have gone on before.

Helen was called home to Heaven on Wednesday, November 4, 2020 at the age of 92 years. Beloved wife of the late Harold Sellars (2006). She will be dearly missed by her children Maureen (Doug) Wickham, Martha (Martin) Teskey, Morris (late Gloria) (2016) Sellars, and Matthew (Laura) Sellars. Grandchildren Derek and Cher Wickham, Ryan and Melissa Wickham, Bill Teskey, Mark and Christine Teskey, Amanda and Jeff Dunn, Justin Sellars, Samantha Sellars, Tarah Sellars & Darren Affleck, and Aaron Sellars. Her 17 great grandchildren will know their Great Grandma through shared memories and pictures. Dearest sister of Betty (Don) Waffle and Margaret Pratt. Predeceased by her siblings Dorothy, John and Doreen. Adventurous travelling companion of sister-in-law Betty-Jo Holland. Mom's motto in life was her favourite Bible verse "I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me" (Philippians 4:10). She lived her life with strength and dignity, giving to others and leaving us a legacy of kindness and compassion. Special thank you to the amazing staff in the Mulberry Neighbourhood for their care and compassion shown to Mom during her stay at Chartwell Royal Oak. To care for those who once cared for us is one of the highest honours. In lieu of flowers, the family would appreciate donations to Bible Centred Ministries (BCM) or the charity of your choice. Resting at Gerald A. Smith Funeral Home, 197 King St. W. Harrow. Visitation on Friday, November 6, from 2-4 p.m., 6-8 p.m.  A funeral service will be held on Saturday November 7, 2020 at 11:00 a.m. at the Harrow Baptist Church, 2548 County Rd. 20 E. Harrow.
