My condolences to Joyce and family on their loss.Back in the 6o's, I was service manager at McDonald Motors. One day Fred Wales from Argyle Beach came into the garage with his Rolls Royce.I asked him how I could help him.I had heard you were supposed those cars to a Rolls Royce dealer - not sure where the closest one was.He was agitated and was worried about a rattling noise under the car. I knew the person for this job.Jimmy put it up on the hoist and in no time and a $2.50 muffler.clamp Fred was on his way with a big smile on his lips.
RIP Jimmy

I was saddened to hear about Jim and my sincere condolences go out to Joyce and her extended family. I always enjoyed working with Jim at McDonald Motors. He was a great guy, a hard worker and always exuded a calm, capable presence no matter the problem at hand. It has been many years since I last saw Jim and I remember him as the big strong guy who could manhandle very large truck tires, seemingly with ease. And there was the night in 1970 when he pulled my new Mustang out of the deep ditch on Ferriss Road. There's a funny story there, but this isn't the time or place for it.
A class person who will be missed by all who knew him. RIP Jimmy.

Our deepest condolences for your loss. I had the pleasure to work with Jim when I started my career in Amherstburg over 30 years ago. He always treated people with dignity, respect and compassion and would go out of the way to help them. Jim's main source of pride was his family and he always spoke fondly of spending time with all of you. May your loss be softened by the wonderful memories of having him in your lives.
God Bless,
Peter and Michelle Chevalier

On behalf of the LaSalle Police Service, I wish extend our deepest and most heartfelt condolences to the entire Hedges family on this tremendous loss.
Not only was Jim an incredible, classy human being but he was a gentleman and an amazing Police Officer who was an example for all of us.
I was blessed to know and work with Jimmy and have fond memories of our coffee break meetings at St. Joseph's Church parking lot on midnight shifts. Jim taught us more in 30 minutes than some would learn in a lifetime.
May God bless you all and know that he is in heaven keeping watch over us all.
