My sincere condolences to Heidi’s family. Heidi has a beautiful soul as shown thru her love and compassion for people. Heidi and I worked together only once but she and I became friends quickly and shared our breaks and lunch times at work. We carried our friendship outside of work — going to movies and eating out. I believe Heidi is home with her saviour and we will someday meet again.

Remembering the good ol confirmation days I would walk home from school with Heidi and when we walked through the door your mom I believe must have been baking all day as there was always so many goodies to choose from all very delicious! Then we would go and play hand ball or shoot hoops at St Anthony school before class. Good memories that’s for sure!

My deepest condolences to Heidi’s family. I worked with Heidi at the SPH and during that time I saw a devoted daughter to her parents and how she faced every challenge in her life with determination and strength. Sending prayers to the family.

Dear Marianne, Richard & families,
I was deeply saddened by the news of Heidi's passing. After a difficult couple of years battling cancer, she's finally at peace. May fond memories of Heidi bring you some comfort. After the tears have dried and the goodbyes have been said, all we have to hold onto are the happy memories that we've shared with our loved ones who have passed. This is what keeps them alive in our hearts and in our minds; and they will continue to live on, through us. Cherish those happy memories of Heidi. She was a special person. My heartfelt condolences go out to all of you.

My condolences to Heidi's family. I worked with Heidi for several years at the SPH. She was a great PSW and staff and residents all apprecieted her easy smile and good humour. Heidi and I had a special bond when we found out our birthdays were the same day ( although mine was 12 years before hers) - we were "twins"!!!

My condolences to Heidi's family. It has been my good fortune to have met Heidi through SPH and share a friendship over the years and our Riccardo’s dinners. She fought a hard battle but now she is free. Rest in peace my friend.

The entire Wirth family was very special to us during our time in Harrow. The first wedding in the church was Marianne and Dennis's. Jack even helped us to pick up our furniture in Toronto when we arrived and with so many other things. Faith in our Lord, family, and service to others were very important to all of you. I looked back at your grandmother, Anna Muench's funeral service, and I thought that the poem at the end of the bulletin also fit well with Heidi's life:
Sehr einfach war dein Leben.
Du dachtest nie an dich.
Nur für die deinen streben.
Hieltst du für Glück und Pflicht.
(Your life was very simple. You never thought of yourself. You found happiness and purpose in working for those who had been place in your life.) By the way we also sang the great hymn at that service (but in German), "It is well with My Soul."
May God grant you all His peace in our risen Savior, Jesus Christ,
Pastor Don and Renate Hougard

To Heidi’s family, i am so sorry for your loss. Heidi was a beautiful person! As we worked together at SPH she would often try to speak to me in German which really made both us laugh because although it is my heritage, i know very little German. As a tribute to those memories from work and to Heidi i remember the German hymn “Lass Mich Gehen” and although we don’t want to let you go, we know you are traveling home to our Saviour and to the loved ones who have gone on before you! Until we meet again.

Dear family of Heidi
I knew Heidi for many years while we both worked at Sun Parlor. I am so sad to hear about your loss. Heidi was far too young. She was a good caregiver to the residents of the Home. She felt confident enough in the Home that she wanted her mom to live here. I am thinking of you and your families during this sad time. May she rest in peace.
