Obituary of Heidi Christina Wirth

WIRTH, Heidi Christina

May 29, 1964 – October 28, 2021

It is with great sadness and heavy hearts we announce the passing of Heidi Wirth of Leamington at Erie Shores Hospice. Surrounded by her family Heidi died with dignity and strength after a 2 year battle with cancer on October 28, 2021. Heidi was predeceased by her parents Jacob "Jack" Wirth (2012) and Eva (Muench) Wirth (2016). She will forever be remembered by her sister Marianne (Dennis) Jay, and her brother Richard Wirth. She was a cherished aunt of Marisa, Daniel (Sheylene), Christopher and great aunt of Jaxen and Levi. Best friend of Colleen, Lennard and David Bickford. Heidi was a loving momma to her fur babies Marmalade, Rudee and Boots. She will be fondly remembered and missed by cousins, friends and her coworker family at Sun Parlor LTC. Heidi was a hard worker and a compassionate caregiver who was dedicated to going above and beyond to deliver the best possible care to her patients and their families during her 30 years at Sun Parlor LTC. Heidi's smile, love, compassion and dedication touched the lives of many people. Our family would like to express their heartfelt gratitude toward the various cancer specialists at London Regional Cancer Clinic for their care, support and tireless dedication for leaving no stone unturned in treating her. To her countless friends and colleagues, your unwavering love, support and compassion gave her strength and encouraged her to fight. You were beacons of light and hope. To Erie Shores Hospice thank you for your care and support of Heidi in her final days. Our family is grateful for the thoughtful visits, prayers and support from the community that assisted in fulfilling Heidi's goal in fighting her cancer for the last 2 years. It was Heidi's desire to be cremated and have a private funeral. There will be a graveside service at Colchester Memorial Cemetery where her ashes will be interred on November 3, 2021 at 11:45 a.m. In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to the Sun Parlor Home, Leamington or Hospice Residential Home, Erie Shores.
