STEFANI, Etna (Chiesa)

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our dear mother Etna on December 30, 2021 at 100 years of age. Loving wife of the late John (1990). Beloved mother of Ronald, Roger (Ann) and son Michael. Dear sister of Gino (Joan) Chiesa, the late Delkie (late Valerie). Dear sister-in-law of Rose (John) Toldo, Vangi (Art) Kirychuk, Stella (Joe) Menequzzi, Irene (Sam) Luvisotto, Inez (Adrian) Fioret all deceased. Dear niece of the late Alba (Ivo) Piccinin and the late Nelida (Serafin) Zoratto. Dear cousin of Rose Lima and Sandra. She loved her many nieces and nephews and looked forward to seeing them every year at the corn roast and Christmas party. Etna was a retired teacher who taught for 30 years in Windsor and other schools in Essex County. She was a member of the Central Seniors Band, the Silver Handbells and the Heart of Essex Sweet Adelines. She was a soloist at St. Angela Merici Church and other churches. Upon retirement she spent her summers in the garden under her big straw hat tending to vegetables and flowers. Many thanks to the staff at Richmond Terrace LTC who made her life in her final years as comfortable as possible. A private family service was held at Gerald A. Smith Funeral Home 197 King St. W. Harrow. Interment at Heavenly Rest Cemetery. Memorial Donations may be made by cheque to the Windsor Goodfellows. You may send your online condolences at www.geraldasmith.ca
