Passed away on September 22, 2022 at the age of 75. Loving father of Greg Smith and Michelle (Joe) Battaglia. Loving grandpa of Kaylee, Courtney, late Joshua (1999) and Ciara. Son of the late Gerald and Eleanor Smith (Neice). Dear friend of Brenda Shawanda. Dear brother of Lorne (Deb), Louise, Gerald "Gee" and Michael (Monica) (late Wendy). Dear uncle of Laura (David) April, Jane (Kris) Cooper, Hope Smith and great uncle of Bianca, Rhyan, Blaike and Harrison. Richard worked as a paramedic for 30 years and was a funeral director for 44 years. Visitation at Gerald A. Smith Funeral Home 197 King St. W. Harrow on Tuesday September 27, 2022 from 2-4 p.m. and 6-8 p.m. A celebration of Richard's life will be held on Wednesday September 28, 2022 at 11:00 a.m. at Gerald A. Smith Funeral Home.
