I am so sorry about Uncle Don, we just found out when I tried to phone and it was not in service
We made a visit last year, and it turned out it was his birthday, so that was even better !! Because of a covid outbreak we were not able to see Betty, but had a great talk on the phone. Uncle Don took us around, and knew everything and everyone, it was great.
We talked on the phone every couple of months, and the last time was on his birthday this year. And such clear recall about our families, and all of you, we talked for 2 hours. We do miss him, but know that he is with God, and persuading him to do a sitting so as to paint another masterpiece.
Our prayers going out to all of his family and friends, we will all miss him. Blessings,

I’m so sorry to hear of Don’s passing. My day used to work for him and his dad many years ago. My Aunt Lucy used to babysit Don. He was here in the past year or so for framing and brought an old photo of Waffles Electric with my Dad in it. Condolences to Don’s Family.

We were so very saddened to learn of Don's passing. He was a significant contributor as a long-time member of the John R. Park Homestead Advisory Board and always had valuable thoughts and contributions in this role. We were honoured to display his artwork a various exhibitions over the years. He was certainly a gifted artist! Even after he retired from his role as an Advisory Board member, Don continued to be engaged with various happenings at both the Homestead and the Conservation Authority. He was dedicated to environmental restoration through tree planting, and over the years, I enjoyed our regular chats and correspondence.
Betty and family, please accept both my personal condolences on Don's passing, and condolences on behalf of the Essex Region Conservation Authority. His vibrant personality will be missed, but his memory lives on in all he touched.

I was shocked to hear of Don's passing. Such an amazing energetic gifted man. His art work was absolutely beautiful. He was so knowledgeable about so many things. I always enjoyed our telephone conversations and my visits, and occasional dinners with Betty and Don. Don made Betty so happy and he supported her in every way. Betty will miss this pillar of strength and his great smile. Rest in peace Don your new journey has just begun.
