WAFFLE, Donald Robert
Passed away peacefully at home surrounded by his loving family on June 21, 2023 at the age of 90 years. Beloved husband of Betty Fox (Bruner). Predeceased by his first wife Donna Mae (Tobin) (2008). Loving father of late Bob (Deborah) Waffle, Mike (Dawn Brenda) Waffle and William Van (Danny) Waffle. Loving grandpa of Robyn, Darcy, James, Scott, Vanessa, Mars, Brenna and great grandchildren Piper, Sadie, Felix, Ronin, Mila, Griffin and Lev. Predeceased by his brothers Theodore and Howard Waffle. Also remembered by Bruce (Lis) Fox and their family. Donald owned and operated Waffle's Electric Limited in Windsor for 35 years and retired in 2008. Don's father started Waffle's Electric in 1933, between fathers and sons, over 4 generations, the company serviced Ontario for 75 years. Cremation has taken place with arrangements entrusted to Gerald A. Smith Funeral Home, 197 King Street W, Harrow Memorial donations may be made to the Leamington Art Center or John R. Park Homestead.
