Obituary of Joyce Hedges

Passed away on March 3, 2016 at the age of 85. Beloved wife of Edward. Loving mother of Rick Hedges (Helen), Toronto, Chris (Betty) Hedges, Harrow, Lorne Hedges (Sarah), Toronto, Dawna (Greg) Harrison, Harrow, Lisa (Brian) Palmer, St. Catharines. Loving grandmother of Kimberley (Rick), the late Melanie, Jeffrey, Derek, Lindsay, Brittany, Cameron, Nate, Darcy, Mitchell, Cecilia and great grandchildren Blake and Dylan. Joyce was a member of the Harrow United Church, Eastern Star, Harrow Fair Board, Essex Gas & Steam Engine Club. Joyce was an avid member of two Quilting Guilds, the Country Cousins and the Saturday Fantastics. Resting at Gerald A. Smith Funeral Home 197 King St. W. Harrow. Visitation on Sunday March 6, 2016 from 2-5 & 7-9 p.m. A service to celebrate Joyce’s life will be held on Monday March 7, 2016 at 11:00 a.m. at the Harrow United Church 45 Munger St. E. Harrow, with Rev. John vanOmme officiating. Cremation to follow. Memorials may be made to Harrow United Church or charity of your choice.
