Obituary of Gwendolyn Salter

74 years. Passed away September 18, 2011. Late of Harrow. Predeceased by her parents Viola (Calhoun) (1990) and Elmer Salter (2006). Dear sister of Marilyn and Russell Rogers, Mount Forest, Hazel and Gerald Farough, Maidstone, Charles and Sheila Salter, George and Connie Salter, Harrow. Dear aunt of Carol (Barry) Kilner, Pauline (Richard) Brockman, Heidi (Adam) McLeod, Glen (Sandi) Rogers, Margaret (John) Dawson, Allen (Christine) Rogers, Jeff (Beth) Salter, David (Elizabeth) Salter, Dennis Salter, Mark Salter, Lauren (fianc Ross) and Klair Salter. Dear great aunt of Calvin, Corey, Cameron, Cody, Brandon, Owen, Abby, Ethan, Ryan, Derrick, Colin, Lindsay, Alexandria, Kaylyn, Matthew, Meagan, Grace and Austin. Gwen was an elementary school teacher for 35 years, retiring in 1992; she was an active member of Harrow United Church and a member of Delta Kappa Gamma Society International. Visitation at Gerald A. Smith Funeral Home 197 King St. W. Harrow Tuesday September 20, 2011, from 2-5 p.m. and 7-9 p.m. A service to celebrate Gwens life will be held on Wednesday September 21, 2011 at 10:30 a.m. at Harrow United Church 45 Munger St. E. Harrow with Rev. David Steadman officiating. Cremation to follow at Greenlawn Memorial Gardens.
