Sitting in the church at uncle Glen's funeral it was incredible to hear all the sincere stories of his great and wonderful life. A caring man who took care of his family (not just his children, grand children and great -grand children). Many of us considered uncle glen a major part of our family and he always was interested in what was going on in your life. Glen & Aunt Helen were there for my sister and I when we were young and our days out on the farm were some of my most memorable of my childhood. As I got older and moved away, Uncle Glen always stayed in my thoughts and several times a year, I would see him at Dad's house when I was back to Harrow. Uncle Glen always had a story about his family and was interested in mine. He will be greatly missed by so many in our community. The Church full of loving friends, family and local Harrow Natives was a testament to the great power he had for so many. He will be missed and not easily replaced.

To all of Uncle Glen's family - I have very fond memories of such a wonderful man, especially of him calling Grandma Carter every night at 8:00! I thought myself very lucky if I happened to be staying over at her house and got a chance to visit with Uncle Glen when he called. I hope he and his oldest sister are now reunited in a happier place. We were glad to have a quick visit with him this past summer when home. It is certainly not easy to say goodbye to your father so we will be thinking of you all during the coming weeks. Love Laurie and Kent.
