Shirley, Joan, Carole, Your Spouses and Families. It certainly grieves me as I read of your mother Marion's passing. Of course she was always out of respect addressed my me as Mrs Pilbeam. We had somewhat developed a camaraderie in the work place, beginning with Clark Foods in Harrow, then upon acquisition by Green Giant with shortly after, our being of a relatively few, were relocated to the Green Giant Plant at Tecumseh, which would later be acquired by Pillsbury. I would jokingly with your mother respond to those in the office who would on occasion somewhat belittle past Clark employees, that the Green Giant simply purchased the entire company to obtain our services. Your family matriarch was certainly a professional, performing many office duties and was much appreciated by I, as she in her secretarial role provided uncountless hours of excellent typing for me. Unfortunately over the years we lost contact, however my wife Patricia and I on occasion reminisce of those earlier years and your Mother will never be forgotten.
