Obituary of Brian Heaton

Passed away September 9, 2008 at 58 years, doing what he loved best, Riding High in the Saddle. Late of Kingsville, formerly of Harrow. Beloved husband and best friend of Sally (Smith) for 28 years. Loving father of Marshall and Kimberly Heaton, Ryan Heaton and Stephanie Heaton, Kingsville. Loving grandpa of Henry. Beloved son of Hubert Heaton, Harrow and the late Marion (Snider) (2001). Dear brother of Sandra and Jim Brown, Harrow, Ann Heaton, Windsor. Wonderful Uncle B to several nieces and nephews Brian was an avid baseball and hockey enthusiast. Brian was an innovator and designer since 1972 at Cooper Canada and returned home to Harrow to continue to design and manufacture goalie equipment with Brians, Heaton and BHG. Known throughout the sporting good industry as the Goalie Guru. Brian and Sally enjoyed together their most recent passion breeding, training, and exhibiting of reining horses since 1999. Visitation at Gerald A. Smith Funeral Home 197 King St. W. Harrow Saturday 7-9 p.m. and Sunday from 2-5 p.m. and 7-9 p.m. A service to celebrate Brians life will be held at Harrow United Church 45 Munger St. E. Harrow on Monday September 15, 2008 at 11:00 a.m. with Rev. David Steadman officiating. Interment at Colchester Memorial Cemetery. Memorial donations to be made to the Heart & Stroke Foundation or Windsor Regional Cancer Centre.
