My condolences go out to the entire Woodbridge family. He will always be remembered in my heart as "Mr. Woodbridge" a wonderful man that I was privileged to work with for many summers during my youthful days. He was a wonderful mentor who I hold the up most respect for. My thoughts and prayers are with all of you during this time.

Dear Edith My brother Bruce informed me yesterday of Edwin's passing and I want to send my deep sympathy to you and your family. I met Edwin only twice - once at H.E.I.R.S. and again at your home last June, and I remember enjoying his quiet humour. I see from his obituary that he was a valued member of his community and church so will be missed by many beyond his own loving family. Alvin

Dear Edith, John and Janet, and families: We regret that medical appointments in London and a vacation departure prevent us from expressing our sympathies in person. Edwin Woodbridge was one of the first people we got to know in Harrow; his name soon became synonymous with education - an important area for both of us. We saw him as a man who always stood clearly for just and Christian principles, and who found time to greet us with a smile and firm handshake each time we met. We will remember him fondly. Our condolences to you and also to the Harrow community; we have all lost an outstanding man. May God comfort you with many happy memories. Sincerely, Walt and Hilda Enns

Dear Edith, Over the past several months we all saw how Edwin's health was failing, and we knew that this dreaded time was coming. However we also know that your strong Christian faith will give you the strength to bear this loss. Unfortunetly a series of medical appointment may make it difficult for us to get to the funeral home. Please accept our sincere condolences. Gerry & Mable

I regret I won't be able to offer my sympathies in person, but I send my deepest condolences to the Woodbridge family as you mourn the loss of your husband/father/grandfather. Ed was always so involved in the Harrow-Colchester South community, and I hope you find some consolation in knowing that he was so well-respected and made a real impact on the lives of everyone who lived there. He will be missed by many, but most keenly by you,his family.

To all of the Woodbridges, Please accept my condolences on the passing of a dear and kind man. He was like a secong father to me during my teenage years, especially when we were out in the fields digging potatoes or cutting/hanging tobacco. I'll always remember those days, fondly, with Edwin and Mervyn keeping the machines moving when we were inclined to lie down and rest. I'm sorry that I won't be able to make it in person but I didn't know what had happened until Phil Hernandez phoned me with the news this afternoon (4/16/08); it was too late for me to make arrangements to get out there for the viewing or burial. With Mom & Dad gone, I guess it's left up to me to say that Edwin was a man to be admired and loved. He has left quite a legacy. Best Regards Jerry

Maggie; You can shed tears because he is gone or you can smile because he lived. You can close your eyes and picture him still here or you can keep your eyes open and see all that he left. May the memories you share now, fill your heart with love and may your faith give you peace.

Maggie and Family: I am very sorry to hear of the death of your father. In meeting on Sunday your family came to mind and I thought of how many months ago you had thought he would not live more than a few days and how much more time you had and I felt so glad for you and then this news arrived today. I will be holding you in the Light. I hope you will let us know if there is anything we can do. Best, Kate
