Obituary of Edwin Woodbridge

83 years. Passed away April 14, 2008. Late of Harrow. Beloved husband of Edith J. (Walker). Beloved father of John and Janet Woodbridge, Harrow, Marjorie Woodbridge, Kingston, Jim Woodbridge, Toronto. Loving grandfather of Andrew (Sandra) Woodbridge, Lindsay (Ryan) Long, Rosalind (Harlan) Parris, Jonathan (Amanda) Hayter. Loving great grandpa of Joshua and Alexander. Edwin was the only son of the late Mervyn and Ruby (Eede). Edwin was a life member of the Harrow United Church, serving on the church board and Christian Education Program. Edwin was a Trustee for 29 years and served 6 years as Chairman of the Essex County Board of Education. Resting at Gerald A. Smith Funeral Home 197 King St. W. Harrow. Visitation Wednesday April 16, 2008 from 2-5 p.m. and 7-9 p.m. A service to celebrate Edwins life will be held Thursday April 17, 2008 at 11:00 a.m. at the Harrow United Church with Rev. David Steadman officiating. Interment at Erie Cemetery, Colchester. Memorial donations may be made by cheque to the Harrow United Church Memorial Fund or the HEIRS Heritage Resource Centre.
