I am writing on behalf of myself and my daughter Jane Miller. Joe was a good friend to Bob Miller who resided at Waters Beach before his death in 2002- Bob very much appreciated Joe's kindness and friendship -they had a love of dogs in common also. Jane visited some times over the years. Joe's death brings back memories of days in the sun on Lake Erie. We will be making a donation to the Humane Society in Joe's name. My daughter Jane and I were very sad to hear about Joe's passing. He was a very good friend to Bob Miller who resided at Waters Beach for quite a few years before his death in 2002. Bob cared a lot about him ; we will be making a donation to the Humane Society in Joe's memory as every year on the anniversary of Bob's death , Joe made a donation in his MEMORY. Waters Beach has lost a good man, sincerely Sue and Jane.

I was so sorry to read of Joe's passing. Joe & I worked together many, many years ago @ the Canadian Life Insurance Assoc. I always remembered him as a terrific co-worker and friend. My sympathy to Jocelyn and family.

It is with shock and sadness that we heard about Joe's passing while on vacation in Florida. Joe and I, Herb, attended Blytheswood Public School together, and after Joe moved on to Toronto we lost contact. I farmed Joe's home farm in Blytheswood for many years, and our friendship was rekindled at that time. We met on vacation in Spain, and again on other occasions - most recently at the Windsor Symphony Concert just before Christmas. The Barrows name lives on as the new store owners in Blytheswood have reinstalled the original stone marker into the brick wall. Our sincere sympathy to the family.
