Dear Murphy family, I am so sorry for your loss. I met Great-Uncle Frank on only a handful of occasions over the years, but the impression he left was lasting. I knew him to be a thoughtful man in possession of a generous spirit and keen emotional intelligence. When I reintroduced myself to him at my grandfather's funeral, Uncle Frank, without missing a beat, began to tell me stories about my grandfather's childhood. Uncle Frank knew intuitively what would be of comfort to me, and he offered it warmly and willingly. I am forever grateful for the consolation he offered, and I hope I may offer the same to you all today. With love and deepest sympathy, Natalie (Judie Killop-St. Pierre's daughter)
