My heartfelt condolences - I was shocked to see this notice. I've known Bryan since 1956 when my family moved to Oxley and I attended the two-room school there - many summer days when I rode my bike over to the Meyer home. Bryan was a wonderful and giving man, and all of Harrow will miss him. All my best to the extended family.

I have no words of comfort that will make this passing seem as though we understand life and it's passing. But what I do know and feel comforted by is that we (Shelley and I) have had the blessing and pleasure of being in the circle of love that Bryan and his family have shared with us and so many in this community. Bryan was always there for me when I needed direction, advise or just that wine on Friday with the "Whine Boys" can't tell you how much I will miss him around the table and the town. But Bryan has left a legacy in this town that will live on longer than we will know. Will miss you friend but will never be forgotten.

Uncle Bryan,
I have read the obituary thrice over. Trying to get my mind to reconcile what my eyes have read. I cannot seem to completely get there. Even though I have been mentally preparing myself to receive the call, and thought I had steeled myself to be prepared to receive it, I learned that one can never be fully prepared to receive the call.
Although you would never accept credit, I owe you so much. My wife and children do as well. You were never a man of many words, not with me at least. Yet, the words you did say were always thought out, and ever one had great meaning and would cause me to pause, evaluate and correct the course I was on as appropriate .
Mostly, you lead by example. You really didn't need to say anything. It was what you did as much as what you said that I paid attention to. It was the respect you showed everyone you came into contact with, the poise you carried yourself with, the love you showed your family and community and how you work to improve all that I admired.
Even when I was at my lowest point in my life, not necessarily looking out for my own best interests, you were there. I always knew that even at those low points, I would be alright because you were there, beside me, fighting , and advocating for me, and along side me. Just as hard, and sometimes harder than I was. I always felt your presence, and knew I was going to get through everything and alright in the end.
