DARBY Ruth DeEtta (Wright) 1919-2018 At age 99 years, passed away peacefully on February 6, 2018 at Riverview Gardens Chatham Ont. formerly of Harrow. Beloved wife of the late John Wilfred Darby (1995). Loving mother of Elizabeth (Roderick) McColl, Gibsons BC., Douglas Darby, Chatham Ont., Kathryn (Roger) Magnusson, Goshen KY, Charles (Diane Dietrich) Darby, North Bay Ont. Predeceased by her daughter-in-law Michelle (1998). Cherished grandma of Matthew, Christopher, Kristin, Dennis, Jessica, Caitlin and Graham. Great grandma of 11 great-grandchildren. Dear sister of the late Joyce (Raymond) McLachlan, Harrow and the late Delight (William) Rath. Ruth worked along side her husband John as an administrator of Darby's Drug Store, and a long-time member of the Women's Guild of St. Andrew's Anglican Church, Harrow. Ruth was very active in the community of Harrow. Family and friends are invited to meet at St. Andrew's Anglican Church 210 King St. E. Harrow at 11:00 am to visit until a time memorial service will be held on Saturday, February 10, 2018 at 11:30 a.m. at with Deacon Elaine Wilcox officiating.
