Dear Sarah. Your father was a wonderful man. I respected him very much as a scientist and as a person. I was so grateful to have known him. He was a good friend and adviser to me, when I did a post-doc with him in the 1980's. His kindness and integrity made a very big impression on me. Dear Sarah,
My deepest condolences on the passing of your father, I remember him and your mum fondly with the regular get togethers with our famiies in Kingsville and at your Harrow home on Arthur St. as well as at the research station. My Dad considered him a close colleague and friend. Your parents were part of my life as a child growing up in Essex County.

Dear Sarah,
Your note to the All Saints community describing your beautiful relationship with you darling dad was so moving. How fortunate you both have been to have each other, these past few years especially, and what a wonderful reserve of lovely memories you have to keep you company and give some consolation for such a loss.

Dear Sarah,
this is very sad news and I feel with you. One could see how close you were with both your parents and that you were looking after them so very well and in a sweet and caring way. And you must have been your father's strength over all those last years. God bless you.
But look after yourself. especially now. It is easier said than done. But knowing about it is the first step, especially now that childhood is finally at an end. You are in my prayers.

Dear Sarah
You and your parents were the first volunteers to welcome me when I started working at the John R. Park Homestead in 1987. Bill was always ready to try something new in the blacksmith shop or the heritage garden. I remember he enthusiastically embraced the idea of growing hops - and things got out of control! He had the most wonderful, twinkly eyes and the best laugh. Our condolences.

Sarah, I am so sorry to hear that your Dad is gone. He was a very kind and brilliant man and I am forever grateful for the privilege I had of working for him. It was obvious that his colleagues and those he served (especially the greenhouse industry) had a great deal of respect for him. Dear sarah, It is with joy that we light a candle for such adear Friend as Bill, your father. He was one of the most gentle men I have ever known and a fine scientist. We are both very sad that he has died.
We know that he was a devoted father.He gave you so much of his time at home and in the bookshop years ago; he showed his deep love for you and pride in your achievements so that I know you feel his loss greatly. He loved to cook; he enjoyed tinsmithing and wrote well in the Amherstburg History book..
Above all, I admired his humility and his loyalty to friends. We have good memories of times you visited at Christmas and Bill usually came with food! We enjoyed seeing him more recently when we celebrated his 90th. May God bless him with rest and peace in heaven. May God comfort you and uphold you.
