Hedges Family,
So sorry for the loss of your Dad. I had the pleasure of knowing him over the last few months at Seacliff Manor.
I enjoyed his frankness, honesty, as well as his sense of humour. I will miss serving him and the rest of yous, as it was evident you are truly a loving family, with the care you gave your Dad.
I'm so glad I got to meet Ed and you all, if only for a short time.
Much Love,Linda

To the family of Edward Hedges,
I would like to extend to you all; my sincere condolences in the loss of your dad. He was a very jovial kind of person. He always added to make the weekly "Euchre" card playing at the "Little White Church" a very laughable evening. My friend and I were kind of "recruited" to come, open up, make some refreshments and hopefully enable a group of seniors to have a good time. We did it, for a few years, probably back a good several years ago. How times goes by. Again, we always found Ed and Joyce to be a very pleasant couple. I just enjoyed watching your video. What beautiful memories, you all must have. My warmest prayers in these days ahead.

I was sorry to read of Edward's passing but so happy to have known him for these many years . I can first recall Edward when he and Joyce our neighbour began dating . He drove a really neat Ford coupe which I remember was put in our barn for safekeeping on the day of their wedding . Carl , my father worked in collaboration for many years with Joyce's father Orvel in farming and later Edward joined in . At spring planting time my father always hoped that Edward would be on afternoons as he loved the nice straight rows that he planted ; it was perhaps a reflection of his life . The Hedges were a fine family and it is nice to see that many have been blessed with long and productive lives .

It is hard to express what I feel about Edward's passing. He ( and Joyce) were such a big part of my life and we made many good memories together. Your Dad was a fine man and followed the Hedges tradition of being involved in the community. And he made his family his top priority. You will miss him. My sincere.sympathy and love to all the family - children, grands, greats and brothers and sisters. Remember the good times.
Wish I was there with you.

Ed was a great guy. When I would come home for the weekend Dad and I would go to Bubs. There was quite a crew there. Ed would come in and he always had a joke or two to tell you. Ed will be missed dearly. We also know that he will be looking down on us and watching over us forever. Rest in Peace.
