I was so sorry to hear of the loss of your mother. I recall meeting her when we were neighbours west of Harrow. Later she frequently visited with my mother in Harrow which my mother greatly enjoyed. Florien endured more heartbreak than anyone should have to and yet despite that she was such a kind, warm, caring person. I have such fond memories of your remarkable mother. Our 5th Concession loses another... So many memories...My dad decided to trim our willow tree with a chainsaw. Upon falling out of the tree and knocking himself out, my mom called the Vercruysses. 5 minutes later your mom and dad arrived. By then awake, my dad had to answer to your dad for his decision to trim the tree by himself. So many memories. Rest in peace Florien. Your tenaciousness will never be forgotten.

Shirley, Debbie & Suzie. Sending you love & hugs. I will always remember your Mom as such a hard worker, someone who gave to everyone around her and someone who endured so much. Even as her mind failed her in her later years she remained so kind and sweet. She could be a bit mischievous at times and always lots of fun, I think that is her legacy and lives on in her three daughters.
