Gloria and boys I am so sorry to hear of Bill’s passing. So many fond memories specifically when you entrusted me, as a young student, to be your first babysitter for the boys. Bill, albeit just around the corner from your house, would always make sure I got home safely. Little did he know, Bill was truly the founding father of the “Harrow Uber” ride service to Windsor for many of us as we started our careers. He was a very special person always smiling and thinking of others.

It was surely a pleasure to work with Bill for ten years beginning in 1978. Jo-Ann and I always enjoyed our golf matches at Kingsville and our many opportunities to network with Gloria and their family. Bill was truly a "gentle Giant" and always a "GENTLEMAN" in everything he did! We will miss our drop-ins and "tea time" whenever we had the opportunity to be in the Harrow area! Mrs. Gorick and family; to remember Mr Gorick to me is an impish smile, like he knows a little joke that you’re not in on. And usually one that he was sharing with Dr Wren at choir practice! That’s how I see him now, singing in the choirs of heaven with his old buddy, looking over his beloved family. I can’t think of growing up in Harrow United without thinking of him.

We first met Bill and Gloria at their home on Munger street in 1960. We were members of the newly formed Harrow Teen Club and they were our counselors.Marcia rode to her job in Windsor with Bill for several years and we have remained friends ever since.We will plant a tree in Hawks View Villas in memory of Bill.
